Kirk was k!lled by a single gunsh*t fired from a nearby rooftop on September 10, while he was at a debate event at Utah Valley University. His wife and their two young children were present at the event. Kirk had co-founded the organization Turning Point when he was 18, which aimed to promote conservative ideals at US colleges.
