Authorities say the fatal bullet that killed Charlie Kirk on September 10 was fired from the rooftop of the Losee Center, a building near the Utah Valley University courtyard where Kirk was addressing the crowd.
The incident occurred about twenty minutes into his speech, when a gunshot rang out, striking him in the neck. Chaos ensued as attendees ducked for cover and police rushed to secure the area.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, Kirk was pronounced dead shortly after. His wife Erika and their two children were present at the event.
